We worked to improve every lacking feature of the original ICY, recreating the game from scratch in Unity 5.Thanks to the exhaustive feedback received from our community and the experience we gained from the original game, we have improved ICY’s formula in many different ways to let it offer a real survival RPG experience in a cold post-apocalyptic world. A new combat system was developed: deeper, more exciting and more challenging than the original one. The survival experience was overhauled in order to offer more variety. A crafting system was introduced, allowing the player to create new items. The original plot was improved and new quests and characters have been added to create a longer and more satisfying experience. The UI was completely reworked to be clearer and better looking. 7aa9394dea Title: ICY: Frostbite EditionGenre: RPGDeveloper:Inner VoidPublisher:Digital TribeRelease Date: 11 Aug, 2017 ICY: Frostbite Edition Cheat Code For Pc icy frostbite edition guide. icy frostbite edition walkthrough. icy frostbite edition gry online. icy frostbite edition pc. icy frostbite edition tree. icy frostbite edition achievements. icy frostbite edition tips. icy frostbite edition wiki. icy frostbite edition review. icy frostbite edition gameplay. icy frostbite edition cheats. icy frostbite edition bertrand. icy frostbite edition black screen. icy frostbite edition wolf pack. icy frostbite edition healing. icy frostbite edition trainer. icy frostbite edition download. icy frostbite edition skidrow. icy frostbite edition steam. icy frostbite edition. icy frostbite edition items Damn this was a good game! I just finished it, and it is on the short and simple side, but excellent with only a few flaws. I bought it for like 2 dollars on a whim, but I would have payed full price for it. It is worth it, when you think about all the work the devs did with all the art. The art is gorgeous, the portraits are great, with every NPC getting a unique one. The atmosphere and writing are great and transports you to this bleak frozen world. The music was... okay? Could have been better. The combat is interesting, it reminds me of card hunter, where equipping better weapons gives you better "cards" to use. The difficulty at survivor mode was just right. I'd have liked it more if it were more complex, more weapons and armor, more skills, more NPC interaction. I think I'm just being greedy. I also wished there had been more interaction with your party. There was the basic "tell me about your past" but I wish there had been a developed relationship system, if they liked you more they got a buff during combat, stuff like that. I also wouldn't have minded choosing a lover ;) TJ or Fang or even Jerome, who ALL THE TIME is talking about how old he is, but his portrait looks like he's 40.. Simple, yet compelling gameplay. Interesting story and character interactions with your decisions feeling like they carry actual weight.Grab a warm coat and settle in for a good time.. Not working on my 2013 Macbook Air. Does not render the map, does not crash either. I had to quit and uninstall.. This game has some seriously awesome writing. The dev's worked hard developing and rounding out the characters and putting extra love into the lore of the story. It works and it works well.It was awesome to get Frostbite Edition because I owned the original. For some reason my play time in the Frostbite Edition doubles from 6 to 12 hours, and on moderate difficulty I died once, whereas in the original on hardest difficulty I breezed through. It's a good game, I'd love to see this do well and this publisher be able to take this game into a larger franchise like Wasteland 2.. Story and graphics are really nice but the combat is TERRIBLE. The morale means very little in the end. Its worth a play though.. Really a good story-focused survival RPG, with an especially nice combat mechanic. The writing is done pretty well, without being too cheesy or grimdark for the sake of being grimdark. The characters you meet are believable, as is the setting. The art is also convincing and delivers the atmosphere well. What really surprised me was the combat. I really don't want to spoil it, but I'd love to see more games using a system like that. It doesn't require fancy graphics, is balanced fairly well and rewards good planning of your characters and party compositions.Bonus points for supporting Linux. The only complaint I have would be a minor bug when saving the game - in 10-20% of the cases, you get thrown to the main menu after saving - and the fact that the game gets too easy later on when you have more family members and equipment. I'm positively rolling in cash, have three skills maxed (and others between 1 and 3) and can beat any encounter without getting more than a scratch - and all of that without doing any grinding. But a patch could probably solve all of these.PS: Hehe... glowing boobs... hehe.... Not quite like anything I've played before, but I enjoyed it. It reminded me a lot of one of those "choose your own adventure" books where your choices lead to different outcomes. Another reviewer mentioned feeling railroaded, but I can only think of one instance where I felt like I definitely had my hands tied, and I thought there should have been at least one other option. On a few other occasions, the narrative backs you into a corner, but while the outcomes were regrettable, it felt right since those were pretty desperate situations. The artwork and setting are really nicely done - one of the few games set in a wintry wasteland that actually manages to feel cold and harsh. I felt some connection to nearly all of the characters and grew rather fond of our little band. Every now and then the dialogue felt a bit...off. Just the way things were worded seemed strange. There was one event that left me thinking whoever wrote it was under the influence at the time. But on the whole, the bulk of the dialogue worked just fine, I thought.Maybe someone should mention that certain characters have really unpleasant backstories, and a few conversations become uncomfortable - though unfortunately not at all unrealistic. The game portrays a civilization that's hit rock bottom, and it doesn't shy away from the wicked doings of unprincipled, vile men. Dealing with them can be pretty disagreeable.Took me about 15 hours to play through, but I did a lot of traveling around and exploring, bartering, and upgrading equipment. Crafting and loot management is a bit click-heavy, but tolerable. Combat's pretty straightforward, and the outcome's pretty much determined by the quality of equipment. As far as replayability, I started a new run on a harder difficulty right after completing the game, and aside from skipping through some scenes, I still enjoyed it. I chose a few different skill routes to see how that affected things, and ran into some things I didn't see the first time through - like the katana, machinegun, and a few other powerful weapons.. It's alright. The art is quite beautiful to look at and the sound design is well made (although it's recycled through the whole game). The story is decent, the characters are somewhat interesting and your decisions sometimes matter. There are a few endings in the game, although I found them quite dissapointing and rushed. When creating a new game, you can choose between three difficulties, the hardest of which is called "The mercenary". Although it promises "unbalanced and punishing challenge", it's nothing more than a breeze. The map is very small, the UI is, quite frankly, one of the ugliest UIs I've seen, the combat mechanics and the skill system are absolute garbage. The scavenging and hunting mechanics are unrewarding and get repetitive fairly quickly. There is no way to aquire the best gear through scavenging, you can only get it by revisiting vendors, which is quite lame in my opinion. You cannot sell or drop your items in bulk and the inventory only holds 150 items with no way to incease it. All in all, it's a decent little game. If you can get past all the technical issues, you might find the story and the art in the game worthwhile. I would suggest you buy the game on sale, would not recommend it at full price.. It is a good game with good concept. it is clearly an indie project with some limitations, on top i will say the easy to broke story. If you don't follow the main story is really easy to screw up the game on a point you can't recover and cut off some decision and event.Other major points is the lenght. It is really a short game, i can't say that the price is correct for a product so short.Generally speaking is a yes, but i will suggest to wait for a sale offer to buy it. at the current 12,99 euro ( i am european ) is not really worth the price. i will also strongly suggest a 2 chapter with more items, story, etc. it will leave a deisre for more for sure
