About This Game "Feed me, or I'll reap your soul!"And with those ridiculous words, my whole life was turned upside down.Sakuraba Rie, aged nine, is a cynical and grumpy girl who cares little for her fellow classmates, and does not have a single friend. That is, until a self-proclaimed demon from the deepest, darkest pits of Hell suddenly appears in Rie's kitchen and steals a tray of cookies. What will happen between these two young girls? Will friendship blossom between them, or perhaps something more? That is up to the reader to decide - but rest assured, no matter what, there will lots and lots of delicious food! From Ebi-Hime, creator of "Asphyxia" and "The Way We ALL GO" comes "Strawberry Vinegar" a slice-of-life story with food, cute demons, yuri, and more food. 7aa9394dea Title: Strawberry VinegarGenre: Adventure, Casual, IndieDeveloper:ebi-himePublisher:ebi-himeRelease Date: 5 Jan, 2016 Strawberry Vinegar Activation Code Crack Another wonderful Ebi-Hime yuri game. It’s getting to be a habit :) This one is about food. Well, not really, but kind’a. No, it’s about a little demon girl from hell threatening to reap your soul if you don’t feed her… So, you feed her, or this is one short game, lemme tell ya’. -Of course, the demon turns out to be quite lovely and enchanting (as long as you feed her!). It’s a lovely journey through some of Japan’s most well-known dishes, along with images and descriptions thereof (yes, you will raid your cupboards, pantries and fridges more than once during this game). And it’s quite a long game too, at least if you want to explore all the roads and avenues our main characters can travel. Lovely game, long game, highly recommended, and now I’m hungry again…. This was a sweet, sweet experience and a more intricate/expansive one than I've expected honestly. While this VN might not be a long one by Japanese standards, it took me full two evening to complete it and I was pleasantly surprised by the story variation and the quality of content it offered.I will maybe start by addressing a few obvious concerns. First, the game indeed features a childish crush between two very young girls, but never crosses the line into uncomfortable territories - everything that happens between them is really cute and innocent and the romantic ending offers an epilogue set a decade later, with some very, very mild "sexual content" (also known as a kissing CG). There's really no reason to freak out.Second, while the aesthetic might be diabetes-inducing, it's a well-written and compelling little story (although obviously comedic and at times pretty absurd because of that), that should be satisfying for even more demanding, mature readers, if they're not allergic to cute things. It has a completely different tone than most of Ebi-Hime's work, but it's still very well done, Third, it's pretty serious about its main theme of sweets and food, but doesn't go overboard - it didn't bore me with long scenes of preparing meals and "foodgasms" like some anime series did in the past. All this combines with fun characters and gorgeous art really made it a satisfying, relaxing experience for me. There are things that could be criticized - like Rie being a bit too mature and smart for a second-grader, some grammar mistakes and minor errors or the somewhat forgettable music. In the end, though, it's one of the best short, casual VNs I've read to date and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who doesn’t hate yuri or comedic slice-of-life stories.------------------------PS If you're interested in more quality western VNs, check out my curator page.. This game is arounf 4-5 hours long. Depending on your reading speed, really. Also it doesn't have a serious plot but instead gives you a sweet, fluffy, heartwarming and charming story of two cute girls who gains friendship and eats lots of nice looking food. Artwork is very nice, it gives you lots of CGs, although most of it focuses on the dishes itself as a warning. I definately recomend this for people who wants to read something lighthearted yet engaging.. If you're a fan of visual novels, anime trope parodies, and gal pals, this is a game for you! The writing in SV is very charming, with the main character Rie having a very distinct voice as the narrator and clever interactions with the other characters in her world. The story is about 75% Rie and Licia, 20% tantilizing food descriptions, and 5% the adorable tale of Rie's parents. The soundtrach is adorably addictive, and all of the game's artwork and sprites are absolutely stunning. I loved doing every run through of this game!. Strawberry Vinegar is a very short and sweet yuri VN.Yet another sweet novel from ebi-hime, it's really cute and has a fun a story about two girls, one of which is a demon who is always hungry. It's very lighthearted and can be completed in one sitting. You will get to see a growing friendship, silly parents and their relationship, a lot of different food, funny and cute moments. - Pretty visuals.- Fun characters.- Interesting story.- A LOT of delicious looking food CG's.- Sweet yuri elements, don't expect some lewd stuff here.- Multiple endings.Highly recommend if you're looking for a lighthearted read with a cute story and pretty visuals, or simply enjoy novels made by ebi-hime.. The golden combi of Ebi-Hime and SillySelly did it again. This time is a wonderful and adorable tale about a young demon daily and a little cynical girl meeting and building a relationship (being friendhip or a lovely romance), lots of delicious food and the weirdly in love couple of the complete opposites parents of the girl.Rie is content with her life. Yeah, she maybe is a loner, but she prefer it that way. And yes, she's maybe a bit cynical, but she's happy that way. That's it until a little Demon Girl arrives at her kitchen, eats her just baked cookies and threaths her to reap her soul.Unless she feed it with delicious food! For a week, Licia, the Little Demon lives with Rie and her parents. Slowly they became close and if you play you cards right a beautiful friendship can blossom. Or even maybe the sweetests love!!And of course, we gonna see the most delicious food, after all, we don't want our souls reaped, right?I must confess that after getting killed in a bad end (I kinda deserved, even if was a bit of a disproportionate retribution, for being a jerk!) and seeing that the yuri was advertised as small, light and so I stopped playing and forgot about the game. But Hanako (Hella Yuri curator), tell me recently that Strawberry Vinegar was rewarding in regards to yuri. So I gave it another try...And it delivered in a wonderful way. I got the romance ending in my first try and was wonderful. The building with Rie doubts and cold facade cracking was amazing. (And the yuri fangirl noticing was so funny and cute, Mayuri, you're top tier Sis!).And the ending. Was VERY rewarding!! I can't thank enough Ebi-Hime and SIllySelly for making it and Hanako for pushing me a bit to finish it.Was ADORABLE!!! Loved it!!Long story short:The good:- Absolutely adorable and wonderful art, a given being SillySelly the artist.- A lovely cute story with plenty of fun moments.- A very adorable and beautiful romance path- Quicky and loveable characters. (The weird couple that Rie's parents make is pretty fun and endearing).- The food! The bad:- Don't play with empty stomachPS: I want an spinoff of Mayuri and Hime... yeah, I ship two background characters with not even faces.. Oh my God, this game.Firstly, it's not written by a Japanese person so don't expect there to be any Japanese text in the options (which is not necessarily bad, just pointing it out).Secondly, the little girl in here is so freaking sarcastic and apathetic she could easily be diagnosed as a psychopath. It's actually pretty sad because she and her mother treat the father like an idiot (whom they both call an idiot) and he kind of is. Also, gender roles are reversed and though I usually welcome something so refreshing the way this game portrayed it was a little cringeworthy. The positives? Artwork is adorable and really helps cover up some of the dark♥♥♥♥♥♥in this game. The food is also drawn freaking amazingly and I'm starving just looking at it.It's not too much money if you pick it up on sale. Got it for three bucks. Worth it if you just want to chill with a sadistic game about food and demons and people with demonic tendencies. But man, the father just really makes me sad...but he's happy...right?P.S.The grammar and strange sentence structure in the game was bit of a turnoff.
